Summary
Aerospace companies are mostly located in Changi, Loyang and Seletar - places that are relatively less well served by public transportation. This can result in tiring or inconvenient commutes being a daily experience for some employees. For the sake of staff welfare, employee recruitment and retention, many companies therefore provide employee transportation, if they have sufficient scale to do so.
Continuing to support employees with transportation has become more challenging during the pandemic. Many companies have implemented split team operations and flexible working arrangements. These have made it harder to anticipate demand, perform transport planning and to keep services viable since buses are running with more unoccupied seats.
Can emerging smart mobility services better address the needs of employees and companies? Does it provide a better solution by optimising routes, bus capacities and timings? We hope to shed some light on these issues in this webinar.
