AAIS is pleased to be a supporting partner of the FlightForge Competition organised by the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) research hubs at the National University of Singapore and Temasek Polytechnic.


This competition invites participants to design a drone cover/ protective enclosure that leverages 3D printing capabilities, embraces sustainability principles, and improves airframe design in terms of protection and tracking drone orientation.


FlightForge is open to Singapore residents under three categories: Open, Tertiary Student and Secondary Student. Participants may take part as individuals or teams of up to 5 and winners will be awarded cash prizes of up to S$4,000!

Workshops

Participants are highly encouraged to join the following workshops to explore and understand the fundamentals of 3D printing, Design for AM, Drone design, and gain exposure to various AM software that could help in design creation. Have your questions about the competition answered during the workshops.
