Event Details
There is a critical shortfall of qualified special process personnel in the aerospace industry, as well as a skills gap created by an increasingly globalized workforce. This has increased pressure on organisations to reduce the time required to train new personnel and ensure adequate standards of competency at all levels. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the aerospace industry is likely to now amplify these issues as highly skilled and experienced personnel move on from the industry.
Join the Performance Review Institute (PRI), Collins Aerospace, the Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) (AAIS), and other industry stakeholders for this event to learn more about the PRI Qualification Program.
Date: 29 September 2020 (Tuesday)
Time: 1500 to 1600hrs (UTC +8)
Platform: WebEx

The industry has joined together to create PRI Qualification, a critical process personnel qualification program. Using the combined technical expertise of the participating organizations, PRI Qualification has the following benefits:
- Aerospace Manufacturers
Aerospace manufacturers can benefit from utilizing an existing industry-managed program to support internal training and assessment or validate personnel capability within their supply chains, and support compliance to Quality Management Systems (SAE AS9100).
- Individuals
Individuals can take a PRI Qualification program assessment to evidence their competency at all levels within their chosen field (for example Heat Treating, Chemical Processing or Welding) and source superior Training Providers through the PRI Qualification Approved Training Provider listing.
Topics of discussion:
1) PRI Qualification: A Program Overview
Hannah Godfrey, Professional Development Manager, Performance Review Institute
2) Developing the Collins Aerospace Workforce through PRI Qualification
Mark Binfield, Quality Fellow โ Special Processes and Nadcap Lead, Actuation Systems
There will be opportunities for questions and answers with the speakers.
