Event Details

The Satellite Research Centre (SaRC) is the cradle of Singapore's satellite technology, where cutting-edge ideas take flight. Since launching XSAT, Singapore's first locally designed satellite, in 2011, SaRC has successfully designed, built, tested, and operated 13 satellites—ranging from compact 1U CubeSats (10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm) to advanced satellites over 100 kg. These missions are managed through a state-of-the-art, fully automated 24/7 mission control station, enabling continuous satellite operations with precision and reliability.

SaRC also leads and collaborates on groundbreaking R&D programmes, both locally and internationally. Through hands-on satellite projects and space environment training, SaRC programmes equip undergraduate and postgraduate students with real-world experience in satellite engineering.

Discover the Future of Space Technology – Up Close

Embark on a guided experience into the fascinating world of space and satellite technology.

The journey begins in the Mission Room, providing an insider's perspective on satellite operations and the key phases of a space mission—Space, Launch, and Operations. Get an exclusive look behind the scenes with videos showcasing real satellite integration and testing. Then, step into the Clean Room viewing gallery, where actual satellite integration takes place. Take the rare opportunity to see real satellite hardware, including a fully assembled Qualification Model, as well as various components and subsystems

The session concludes with an open discussion on how industry players can contribute to the rapidly growing Singapore space ecosystem.
