Event Details

From time to time, disputes may arise between parties in a business arrangement. Most business leaders will prefer to resolve these differences quickly so that, as much as possible, the parties can continue doing business together.

Following the announcement of the Memorandum of Understanding between HCAA (Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation) and SIMC (Singapore International Mediation Centre), we would like to invite our AAIS members, friends and supporters to a knowledge sharing session on mediation as a cost effective and efficient dispute resolution tool that focuses on the interests of the parties. Mediation is gaining popularity as an alternative dispute resolution process. From SIMC records, the vast majority of differences brought before it for mediation have been successfully resolved by parties with the help of the mediator.

Lawyers, Paul Ng and Antony Lee will tell you more about mediation, its benefits, its process and how that process helps the parties to discuss and resolve their differences in a confidential environment with the help of a mediator.
