Ms Glory Wee is the Senior Director of the Aviation Development Group at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. In this role, she oversees policies and plans to drive Singapore’s competitiveness as a leading international air hub. These include aviation industry and manpower development; airport infrastructure and land planning; air transport policy; as well as service and economic regulation of our airports.

Prior appointments include Senior Vice President and Head of the Resource & Carbon, and Advanced Manufacturing Divisions at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB); Director of Aerospace, Marine & Offshore, and Urban Solutions Cluster at JTC Corporation; and Director for Financial Incentives at EDB’s Business Environment Division. In earlier years, she was Head of Aerospace and Marine & Offshore at EDB’s Transport Engineering Cluster; and has also held various positions at EDB’s Human Resources Division, Resource Development Division, as well as at the Singapore Ministry of Finance’s Economic Programmes Directorate.

Glory graduated with a MSc in Economics and a BSc in Economics (First Class) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is married with two children.

Oliver (Ollie) Chamberlain is overall responsible for Fan Blade Singapore, which is the lead facility to produce the patented hollow titanium Wide Chord Fan Blade for Rolls-Royce globally. In this role, Ollie leads an organisation of over 200 people including skilled technicians and engineers, running a high-value manufacturing operation. Ollie is also the accountable person for Health and Safety for the Rolls-Royce Seletar campus.

Prior to this, Ollie led the manufacturing operations for a complex machining and fabrication facility for Rolls-Royce in the UK. He had also worked in various roles in manufacturing and customer facing projects, including health and safety; quality improvements; and engineering.

Ollie joined Rolls-Royce as a craft apprentice in 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Operations Excellence.

Ollie is married with two daughters. He is a fitness and aviation enthusiast.

Pang Yong Kiang was appointed General Manager of both Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions ( PWCS ), a 100% Pratt & Whitney owned repair component shop and Component Aerospace Services ( CAS ), a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney ( PW ) and Singapore Airlines Engineering Company ( SIAEC ) in November 2023. In this role, he serves as the overall in charge of both repair units covering all aspects of the business as well as the future growth of both entities. Prior to this role, Pang was the Deputy General Manager of both shops and oversaw the movement of CAS into its current location in late 2022.

Pang started his career in Eagle Services ASIA Ptd Ltd ( a joint venture between PW and SIAEC ) in 2005 as an Operations Engineer and worked his way up the career ladder over the years before his posting to USA. During his pre-USA stint, he progressed to the role of Operations Manager of various operational areas, led the formation of a new engineering team and worked extensively on business transformation.

He then spent 2 years in Pratt and Whitney’s headquarters in Connecticut, USA where he took on the role of Sales Analyst in the Aftermarket Sales department assisting the various campaign managers in assessing overhaul deals and profitability. He also took on the role of Business Development ( Repair Industrialization ) for the PW1100G-JM ( GTF ) where he utilized his engine center experience to help set up repair capabilities for the GTF. His course of work covers sites in USA, UK, Poland and Germany.

Upon his return to Singapore, Pang took on the role of New Product Introduction Manager to bring the GTF into ESA and subsequently assumed the role of Operations Senior Manager running the PW4000 engine line. He then took over the responsibilities of Customer Support Associate Director and interacted with various airlines operating the PW4000 and GTF engines around the world.

Pang holds an MBA from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (Asia) and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore.

In his free time, Pang participates in triathlons, flies for leisure ( FAA PPL ) and pursues the art of chinese calligraphy.

ME6 Reuben Lim assumed the appointment of Deputy Head of Air Engineering and Logistics Department (Airworthiness Engineering) (DHAEL(AE)) on 8 Feb 2023. As DHAEL(AE), he is the assigned Technical Airworthiness Authority for all RSAF aircraft. This entails the certification of new aircraft and new configurations, as well as ensuring the continuing airworthiness of all RSAF aircraft.

ME6 Reuben Lim joined the RSAF in 1997 as a Local Study Award holder. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001 with a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Civil Engineering in 2005. He is also a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council UK. In 2011, he was awarded the SAF Post Graduate Award to pursue his PhD research on Condition Based Maintenance in Cranfield University. He attended the 48th Command and Staff Course in Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College in 2017 and was awarded the Air Force Top Graduate. Throughout his career, he has served in different Command and Staff appointments in both Structures and Aero-systems engineering. His recent tours include leading 816 SQN as Commanding Officer from 2017 to 2019, and serving as Head Structures Centre from 2019 to 2022. ME6 Reuben Lim is married to Chai Meng and they have two boys, Johan and Jared.

Kim Chua is the Adjunct Faculty at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Asia.
