The AAIS Annual General Meeting will be held in person on 25 October (Friday) from 2.00pm to 5.00pm at the Bombardier premises in Seletar.
Elections will be held for the two vacant Vice-President positions. Details regarding nominations will be disseminated to eligible Main and Alternate representatives of member companies in the coming weeks. Do note that only Charter and Ordinary Members of AAIS can nominate candidates for election.
This is a members-only event. Kindly ensure that the contact information of key representatives from your organisation are up-to-date HERE and mark the date. Should the Main and Alternate representatives be unavailable, a proxy can be nominated. |

Aero Partners Golf Tournament 2024
The annual Aerospace Partners’ Golf Tournament co-organised by AAIS was held on August 16 at Tanah Merah Country Club. The event brought together golfers from the industry to raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS). It was a beautiful day on the course, with roving buggies for drinks and fun novelty challenges. A highlight of the networking dinner was the CPAS Art Auction, which saw the community digging deep to contribute to a worthy cause. The evening concluded with a prize presentation and the popular raffle draw. We congratulate winners and thank all participants, sponsors and volunteers for your outstanding support. |

Inaugural Aerospace Sustainability COP
AAIS and JTC hosted the inaugural Aerospace Sustainability Community of Practice (COP) on 15 August. The forum is designed as a recurring platform for the industry to discuss and advance sustainability initiatives and practices. At this first COP, JTC introduced a sustainability framework tailored for industry parks, which could be piloted at SAP. Representatives from PUB, delivered a session on Water Demand Management, showcasing best practices and case studies. They also spoke about the Water Efficiency Fund and rainwater harvesting for industry use. We thank all participants and speakers for making the first COP a success and look forward to continuing the dialogue and industry collaboration on sustainability. |

Dialogue with Selangor State EXCO & trade delegation
In conjunction with a visit by a trade delegation from the Malaysian state of Selangor, AAIS facilitated an exclusive dialogue with its members on 1 August. The event featured the Honorable Dr Mohamad Fahmi bin Ngah, Selangor State Exco, and included insightful briefings and discussions on Selangor's plans to develop its aerospace, and unmanned aircraft systems industries. Dr Leo Jeoh, CEO of STATE Aviation, in turn, provided an update on the UAS sector development in Singapore. AAIS members present also had the opportunity to network with representatives from the Selangor State Government and Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporation (MBI). |

Singapore UAS Directory 2024/25
AAIS has launched the fourth edition of the Singapore UAS Directory, with the support of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Enterprise Singapore and the Maritime Port Authority. Since the last edition, the breadth and sophistication of the industry has evolved. To better reflect this, the number of classifications has doubled and the directory has grown from 56 pages to 88 pages. We trust that this new edition will provide better utility to end users. |
