AAIS: Space domain to be included in our service to members - Invitation to join our new Singapore Space Community
AAIS began 20 years ago as an association for the aerospace MRO and manufacturing sector. Over time, we have expanded our membership across the aviation and aerospace domains, for example to include air navigation services, airport ground support equipment, and unmanned aircraft systems.
Extending our Membership service to the Space domain
In view of the growing Space sector in Singapore, and the fact that a proportion of AAIS Members also have Space-related businesses, our Management Committee has taken a decision to include the Space domain in our service to Members. Many of our counterpart national aerospace associations around the world have also taken a similar decision.
Singapore Space Community by AAIS
We are therefore forming the Singapore Space Community by AAIS, and warmly welcome you, as our Member, to opt in. For AAIS Members, participation in our Singapore Space Community comes with NO additional fees, and is simply an extension of our service to you. We are progressively identifying how we can add value in our support for the Space sector, and welcome your ideas and feedback. For a start, we have begun to include Space content in our Aerospace Singapore Digital magazine and have been granted a permit by IMDA to publish a Singapore Space Directory in the near future. We will also leverage our members and global networks to develop our future services and activities for the Space domain.
