The Singapore UAS Community by AAIS exhibited at Drones & Uncrewed Asia last week, shared with visitors and exhibitors about the UAS Community and about the upcoming preparation for the 2024/2025 edition of the Singapore UAS Directory.

This time, the UAS theme took to the main stage, in addition to the UAV Innovation Theatre and Tech Talks stages. AAIS Chief Executive moderated a distinguished panel comprising Singapore and Malaysia regulators, global drone-data-digital company, Aerodyne Group, and Viasat, to discuss the harmonisation and standardisation of regulations. |

According to the recently released Global Risks Report 2024 by the World Economic Forum, we are in a period of "rapidly accelerating technological change and economic uncertainty" with the world "plagued by a duo of dangerous crises: climate and conflict." Against this backdrop, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong, delivered the budget statement in Parliament on 16 February 2024. The Budget addressed key long-term issues facing Singapore, including climate change, competition for talent and foreign investments, and social inequality.
