Singapore Delegation at ICAO's Advanced Air Mobility Symposium 2024
The International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) first Advanced Air Mobility Symposium was held 9 to 12 September 2024, in Montréal, Canada on the theme of "Advanced Air Mobility global harmonization and interoperability: Challenges and opportunities".
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore was accompanied by several industry members at the event, including Garuda Robotics, Heron AirBridge, ST Engineering Aerospace and Singapore University of Technology and Design. |

European UAS Online Project Marketplace
The European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) is a network of 45 aerospace clusters from 18 European countries. On 27 Sep 2024, 4 to 6 pm (GMT+8), EACP will host the UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) Online Project Marketplace. The Marketplace aims to enhance the visibility of ongoing UAS projects within the EACP network and provide a deeper understanding of current key topics shaping the European UAS ecosystem.
This free webinar offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from various UAM/AAM projects within the EACP network. Each project presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A session, allowing you to engage directly with the presenters.

"Digital Licence Plate" for Registered UA by 1 Dec 2025
Effective from 1 December 2025, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore will require all Unmanned Aircraft (UA) weighing over 250g to be equipped with Broadcast Remote Identification (B-RID), in an effort to boost Singapore’s aviation safety and security. Acting as a “digital licence plate”, the B-RID uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology to transmit crucial information such as the UA’s position, serial number and the operator’s location, for identification and safety purposes. |
