Notice of the Annual General Meeting has been sent to all Main and Alternate Representatives. Kindly RSVP by 10 October 2024, 12PM to confirm your attendance. If you are unable to attend, please nominate a proxy to represent your company by completing the Proxy Authorisation Form and submitting it to the Secretariat by the same date.
Elections will be held for the two vacant Vice-President positions. Nomination papers have been disseminated to eligible member companies. Do note that only Charter and Ordinary Members of AAIS can nominate candidates for election and cast votes. |

The 2024 AAIS Annual Futsal Tournament was a successful exhibition of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. Held on 14 September, 28 teams from the aerospace industry gathered at KickOff! Hougang for an action-packed day of matches. AAIS & Embassy of Ireland: MRO Market Briefing & Networking
In close collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, AAIS organised a Market Highlight Briefing and Networking session on 23rd September 2024. Hosted at the new Ireland House, the event brought together key players from the Irish and Singaporean aviation and aerospace sectors for an insightful exchange of market trends and opportunities. Singapore Pavilion @ MRO Asia-Pacific 2024
MRO Asia-Pacific 2024, held at Singapore Expo from 24 to 26 September, saw a strong turnout of trade visitors. The Singapore Pavilion, coordinated by AAIS, showcased 22 Singapore-based enterprises and attracted a steady stream of visitors. Positive feedback from exhibitors and trade visitors is testament to the show's growing influence, with many attendees expressing a desire for more time to fully explore the show and connect with key contacts. We congratulate show organiser AviationWeek, as well as Sg Pavilion exhibitors and AAIS members for their successful participation and exciting announcements at the show. |

Integrating Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing Held on 27 September, this seminar brought together aerospace professionals to discuss operations as well as responsible sourcing, increasingly important aspects in meeting industry regulations and expectations. Michael Daniel, an AAIS Panel of Expert member, opened with a sharing on counterfeit and suspected unapproved parts in the aerospace system. Katie Yewdall of LRQA Asia Pacific, followed with a session on integrating sustainability into aerospace operations. AAIS thanks our speakers and all participants for their active contributions. |

The AGM will be held on 25 October 2024 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm at Bombardier Singapore in Seletar Aerospace Park. Join us to hear from AAIS President, Secretary and Treasurer, as they review the past year and share focus areas, plans and strategies for the Association in the coming year. Elections will be conducted to fill two (2) vacant Vice-President positions in the Management Committee. The elected candidate will serve for the balance of the MC 2023/25 term (ie. until the 2025 AGM). Only Main / Alternate representatives of the AAIS membership or their appointed proxies may vote on resolutions at the AGM, therefore invitations will be extended to main/alternate representatives of member companies in the first instance.
